June 5, 2020 - Vancouver, B.C., Minfocus Exploration Inc. (TSX.V: MFX) (“Minfocus” or the “Company”) announces a private placement of up to a total of 5,000,000 units at a price of $0.03 per unit for aggregate proceeds of $150,000. Each unit will consist of one common share of the Company (a “Share”) and one share purchase warrant. Each share purchase warrant (a “Warrant”) will entitle the holder to acquire one common share of the Company at an exercise price of $0.05 for a period of 24 months following the closing date of the private placement (the “Closing Date”). The proceeds of the private placement will be used toward general working capital. The private placement remains subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
The Company also announces that Alicia Milne, a current director of the Company, has been appointed as President and CEO and that Jody Bellefleur, the Company’s CFO, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company.
Ms. Milne is a securities compliance consultant providing services to various public companies listed on the NYSE, TSX and TSX Venture Exchanges. With over 20 years in the legal profession, Ms. Milne has developed her career as a corporate secretary, compliance officer and corporate consultant as well as an independent director.
Ms. Bellefleur has been the CFO of the Company since February 2018. Ms. Bellefleur is a CPA, CGA with over 25 years as a corporate accountant, accumulating extensive experience as a CFO of several TSXV mineral exploration companies.
